scholten & baijings & enigheid

Yesterday I hopped on the train to Den Bosch to

1) see an exhibition about designers Scholten & Baijings.
A small space, but oh so lovely!
Their colour combinations are stunning.

2) to meet Iris from Enigheid!
A tiny bit scary, but it was super nice,
we chatted the whole afternoon :)
And forgot to make pictures!

Best dutch book designs / Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam

An exhibition about the best Dutch book designs of last year.
You can browse through all the books yourself
which was the best part of this exhibition.

My favourites were the photography book of Uta Eisenreich,
a book designed by Irma Boom and a book I bought
myself a while ago. I'll show it later!

graphic design museum

Last week I went to the Graphic Design Museum in Breda. I never visited this museum before so I was really curious. It was a nice, pretty small museum. My favourite part was their Dutch Design Database which shows how the profession has developed. But I also enjoyed Credit on Color: thousands of credit cards, free cards, discount cards and credit card look-alikes on one wall, arranged by colour like a rainbow of cards. And of course I had to visit their shop with lots of interesting books and design products. But I ended up buying only this pencil and card :)
