This weekend I'm visiting my parents, so I don't have my regular list. And although my week wasn't totally fun I do have some happy things to share!

must-see-monday : mieke willems

Their blog is one of my favourites, a visit to their shop is on my wish list, they collect lovely things and last week they finally opened a webshop : Mieke Willems. Hooray, I immediately placed a small order of notebooks, labels and a pen. So please mailman be quick!

sakatodesign

Last week I had a little meeting with Miho from Sakatodesign. She's a graphic designer from Tokyo, but was in Holland to visit Dutch designers for her upcoming book. And hooray, in her busy schedule their was some time to drink coffee together. Her hotel was almost near my home. Having a real conversation was a bit hard as her English wasn't that good and obviously my Japanese isn't that fluent either (haha), but with pictures, a notebook, maps and a book we'd managed. She brought me this cute gift: yummy Japanese candies and some of her stickers.

It was a bit strange and almost surreal to meet someone unknown from Japan so suddenly, but it also gave me inspiration. Her style is great, I love to browse through her blogs and she amazed me with her knowlegde of Holland. So after I dropped her at her hotel I jumped on my bike with a big smile :)

must-see-monday : autumn fabric

Autumn has really started here and I have to admit I don't mind. I love the dark evenings, drinking lots of warm tea and wearing scarves and boots :) This fabric, from one of my favourite Etsy supply sellers Karaku, brings me in an autumn mood too!

Somehow my new diary for 2010 and favourite pen match surprisingly well. I only have to wait till this year is over to use them together :)

a market in autumn, are you crazy?!

Can you imagine... a post about the Sunday Market without pictures!? You just have to believe what I'm telling you :) To be honest, when I woke up on sunday morning I didn't feel like going there at all. It was just too cozy at home and outside it was dark, cold and windy. But actually it wasn't as bad as I expected. Okay, my lips did turn blue in the end, but at least it was dry and the wind calmed down in the afternoon. I also had really good company, nice neighbours, a chance to pretend this cute stuff was mine while watching her booth for a little while, and yaaaay, I even made a profit :) The sales were much better than last time and I had lots of nice comments. Pfew, welcome back confidence!

must-see-monday : studio violet

This week I picked Studio Violet, already well-known, but such a great inspiration. It's a colloboration between two Swedish illustrators/designers: Camilla Engman and Elizabeth Dunker. Wow, it's so great to see two of your favourites working together! And there's so much to see: a mutual blog, a shop, their own blogs and shops... Enjoy!
