weekly happy stats
Although it was busy at work, there was a lot of rain this week, I fell in a puddle with my bike, watched the saddest movie ever and had some crap evenings: I made a list!

forever five
My watch broke down, so I needed a new one. I picked this super nice one made by Eva from Misako Mimoko. From now on it will be five o'clock forever. I like that!
and yes, I'm aware that it's upside down :)

must-see-monday : advice to sink in slowly
If you're ever in need of advice, go check advice to sink in slowly: a series of posters designed by graduates for the purpose of passing on advice and inspiration to first year students. Such a friendly idea! I could use some advice myself.

weekly happy stats
This week was great! I didn't have to go to work, so I spend a lot of time working on graphic design, reading (a lot!) and visiting places in my hometown I never got to visit before. And tonight we'll go see a movie, Please give, and go out for dinner. I wish it would never end...!

polaroid day : irma boom
Last week I went to see the Irma Boom exhibition 'Biography in Books' in Amsterdam. Boom is a graphic designer who mostly designs books: unusual books, colourful books, extremely large and small books. Just look at the catalogue of her exhibition. It's only 5 cm, but contains 700 pages!

must-see-monday : olle eksel
In Berlin I stumbled upon this book about Olle Eksel, a Swedish graphic designer (1918-2007). The sweet drawing on the cover attracted me and when I took a peek inside I knew I wanted it! The illustrations, mostly made in the 50's and 60's, are so lovely, friendly and simple. It's a book to look into over and over again.

berlin eating
As you might know my boyfriend and I are vegan. Sometimes this is a problem when eating outside, but not in Berlin! This is by far the most vegan friendly city I know. It made me extremely happy to see so many places offering a vegan option. From vegan fast food and cheese to ice cream and iced coffees, we had it all!
a soya latte, I had a lot of these!
Cafe Vux, a vegan lunchrooom
with the most delicious pie
Hans Wurst
some 'cream cheese' bagels
and a vanilla-strawberry cupcake!
