must-see-monday: dutch handmade!
Have you already checked the new blog Dutch Handmade Arts & Crafts?
This blog is all about Etsy shops from the Netherlands!
Pretty cool, I'd say! :)
Oh and pssst, if you have some time left, they need a couple of helping hands.

something lovely arrived
Finally I got Camilla Engman's book! It is truly fantastic and makes me pretty happy. And look at all the extra things that came with it! This is exactly how books should look like :) The best part is, it's part of a new series by Uppercase called The Suitcase Series, so I can't wait to see who they'll feature next.

must-see-monday : sandra juto
This 2010 pocket calender (fits in your wallet!) is designed by Sandra Juto, a Swedish illustrator and graphic designer. She seems to do everything: from photographing and illustrating to crocheting! I'm a big fan of this illustration. And now I just realized I forgot to add her blog to my rss reader, will do it now!

new project for the new year
Project number one for 2010:
crocheting a granny square blanket.
This is actually on my list for ages (haha, almost embarrasing!), but now I really want to get myself started. After some research I decided on the colours: the main colour will be a bit off-white. I teared out the picture above from a magazine and keep it as an example, I absolutely love it! It's by the way made by Wood & Wool Stool.
Now I'm putting several colours together to see how they look like and then I just should get started I guess :)

must-see-monday : the small object
The small object offers a cool download to help you with your new year's resolutions: the 2010 daily resolution record. It's pretty simple, a sort of calender to track your progress:
Just put a stamp over every day you did your resolution and see what you do all year long. Good luck! I think it might work.

new year, new stats!
This first days of the working week were blah. It was a bit hard to get back to normal again. I felt kind of lost, with no plans, no projects, no ideas at all. And besides, there were too many cookies, money spent on clothes I don't really need and too much sleep. Oh and let's not forget the awful weather with snow everywhere. Riding my bike was really hard!
But yesterday I believe my old self was coming back, hooray! Feels much better. And to be honest this week wasn't totally wasted:

must-see-monday : minnk
Hi, if you have some time, take a look at Minnk, a Japanese magazine. It took me a while to figure out you have to browse the other way around and I don't have a clue what they're talking about, but it's just fun to look at!

hello 2010!
Why is time going so fast?! I'm still listening to an indiepop christmas podcast and so NOT in the mood yet to go to work again. Now what? Although I'm not really into new year's resolutions, maybe it will help to get me started...
This is all I can think of now. I don't have any specific plans for next year yet, but I'll probably make some during the year. We'll see what happens..
But before everything is back to normal again I'll finish my christmas podcast!
