supply shopping spree
Last friday I was allowed to go on a supply shopping trip, because I ran out of a couple of essential things. I went to this market in my home town (for the Dutchies: Albert Cuyp) and came home extremly happy ^_^ Found some lovely gingham fabric, felt, polka dot ribbon, cute needles and....buttons!! Okay, I wasn't exactly looking for buttons, but I bumped into an offer I couldn't resist: a whole tube full of buttons for only 1 euro!! Aaah, can you imagine? There were lots of ugly ones, but I managed to find four:

craftparking fun
Almost forgot to share this video with you! Maria from LeelaBijou (or actually her boyfriend!) made a video of all the etsy members at Craftparking in Maastricht. I'm in there as well....somewhere! Haha, it such a happy film, I really enjoyed watching it. Oh and don't forget to turn on the music :D

craftparking

There were a lot of Etsy people and the organisation put us all together :) It's always so strange to see people you 'know' from the internet in real life. Sometimes someone looks just as you expected, sometimes it's totally different! I only made one stupid picture of my table, but on Artminds blog you'll find a whole selection.
Oh and I ate carrot cake in Maastricht too....yumm!

must-see-monday : cici studio
It's monday again, so time for another must-see but it's also my first day at work after the summer holiday....Hmm, mixed feelings. The end of a holiday always makes me kind of sad :( I do like my work, but I think I prefer spending my time at home doing whatever I want to! Now I have to squeeze all my mamutopia work in the evenings and weekends between all the other activities I (have to) do. Well, we'll see how it goes, but it's gonna be busy!
Anyway because of my first day I choose a office themed must-see-monday: a diy magnetic perpetual calendar by Cici Studio. Aaww, cute colours AND useful!

In a few hours I'll take the train to Maastricht to spend some lovely days there and to promote Mamutopia at Craftparking! My etsy is closed for the next couple of days, but expect lots of new products next week!

craft fairs coming up!

Sunday august 16th : craftparking Maastricht
It's a pretty long trip from Amsterdam to Maastricht, so my boyfriend (my market partner in crime because I can't do it on my own!) and I decided to stay in Maastricht the whole weekend. Like a little vacation before we both have to work again. This craft fair is new to me, so I'm really curious! I'm hoping for some nice summer weather.
Sunday september 20th : craftymarkt Amsterdam
Last edition was super, so I definitely didn't want to miss this one. The fun part is I'll share my stall with Maartje from Tizzalicious! I'm looking forward to it, it's gonna be so much fun! Expect an overdosis cuteness :D
Sunday october 4th : sunday market Amsterdam
The lovely craft fair in my backyard! Luckily I don't have to be here on my own either, because my stall partner this time is Teresa from Beejoux : handmade with bee love. I haven't met her yet, but we already wrote a couple of emails, so it seems as if I know her already!
Are you coming too?

paris : shopping
The things on the last picture are from Muji. This Japanese store reminded me a little bit of our Dutch Hema, but less colourful and a bit more design. I really liked to browse through their products. Even boring things like paperclips and pens were suddenly interesting, because of their nice packaging!

must-see-monday : tas-ka
Tas-ka!
Their website says:
'Design studio Tas-ka is a young company by Jantien Baas en Hester Worst. After graduation from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, they started their own company in 2004 called Tas-ka. The Tas-ka collection is based on the theme 'house.'
This 'house' theme is exactly what I like. It's so simple and beautiful.

They also have a webshop 'Collected by Tas-ka' with their own products, but they also offer items by other designers. I ordered there a couple of times and it's always so much fun to receive your package. All your products are wrapped really colourful with a personal card :)
