yay for space

I'm so happy with all this new storage space, there's even some left! (...but for how long?) Mind you, it was horrible putting it all together, so hopefully I don't need another one in the near future :)On top I put this adorable card by Blanca Gomez, the mushroom spool you see on almost every blog and a little dented ceramic cup.

cotton time

How nice to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and this magazine. It is full of great craft projects and makes me want to sew immediately. I wish I could only read Japanese!

Finally I had the courage to cut this lovely mushroom fabric and made a quick passport cover out of it.

criss cross

Last weekend I made these criss cross coasters using this tutorial. It was super easy! In fact, I think I'll make some more. They would make a great gift too.

You can never have enough of these!

To create more storage space I bought a few more of these little Ikea chests with drawers, but I really don't feel like putting them together just yet. Actually I hate it, so maybe tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, or... ^_^

After seeing some beautiful crocheted blankets lately I decided to make my own. It's a great way to use all your (granny) squares which I love to make. So today I started practicing with different colours and designs, but I doubt if I'll ever make a decision :)
