baking swap

I hadn't done swaps in a long time, so I decided to join a spring themed baking swap on swap-bot. This cupcake goes all the way to Canada!

Because we both love Chris Ware, I wanted to make this paper toy for my boyfriend's birthday. It went well at first, but soon I got really frustrated. The tiny parts wouldn't fit, I had glue all over the table and my fingers and the rocket kept falling over. But in the end it turned out alright, a little bit wonky, but at least it stands upright finally :)
